Rannsakendur við Cambridgeháskóla á Englandi hafa lagt mat á aðgerðaráætlanir gegn einelti (Effectiveness of school-based programs to reduce bullying: a systematic and meta-analytic review).

Athygli vekur að aðgerðir í ætt við Olweusaráætlunina eru áhrifaríkastar. Þá er upptalningin á hvaða atriði skipta mestu máli – er öll að finna í Olweusaráætluninni:

“The most important program elements that were associated with a decrease in bullying were parent training/meetings, improved playground supervision, disciplinary methods, classroom management, teacher training, classroom rules, a whole-school anti-bullying policy, school conferences, information for parents, and cooperative group work. In addition, the total number of elements and the duration and intensity of the program for teachers and children were significantly associated with a decrease in bullying. Also, programs inspired by the work of Dan Olweus worked best.”
